A bonus guide on joint pain Unrelated to blood sugar, and a bonus is no reason to pick a package size. ## Who should buy it, and who shouldn't ### Worth a look if You'd rather take drops than swallow a capsule, you want to see the whole ingredient list before paying, and your doctor has seen it too. ### Skip it if You're sensitive to caffeine, you want more than a trace of chromium (Glyco Pulse prints 100 mcg), you're pregnant or nursing, or the FDA seal is what sold you. ## Side effects and medication cautions Gymnema and chromium are both sold for blood sugar, so anyone taking diabetes medication should show this label to a doctor first. Most of the blend is herbal, and the NIH's complementary health center (NCCIH) warns that using herbal supplements with conventional diabetes drugs "can cause unwanted side effects". Guarana and green tea add caffeine, and a lot of the blend (raspberry ketones, African mango, coleus, capsicum) is what you'd usually find in a weight-loss formula.
